Junior Holiday Camps 2009

The Hope Island Golf Academy is taking enrolments for the 2009 Holiday Golf Camps. The camps run Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm. The Camps are limited to 12 children per camp so book early to avoid disappointment.
We meet at the Academy Office for the start of each day. Once all the kids are here we head out to the driving range for a light stretch followed by range balls for the first hour working on swing fundamentals, the grip, posture, and swing technique. We then take the buggies... a favourite for many... out to practice areas on the course playing pitching or putting games. Each day the kids' skills are tested with certificates given for all aspects of the game, Putting,Chipping,Iron Play, Woods, and Bunkers. We then go to lunch between 11:30 and 12:00 at the Clubhouse Spikes Bar. Following lunch there are several indoor activities for the kids to take part in. Playstation games, computer games, indoor putting games, movies. For kids who wish to play golf after lunch we hold chipping and putting games on the practice area near the office. The last hour of the day we head out to the driving range again for more supervised practice. The Camps are for children aged between 7 and 14 years. Up Coming Camp Dates For 2009 Summer Holidays

What to Bring Hat - Apply sunscreen prior to day's activities - Lunch Box with drink. Lunch may be purchased from the Spikes Bar as well. Also in 2008 all the kids will receive a FREE video swing analysis with Swing Mate to view at home on their computers... Bookings
