One of the most difficult decisions you will make when planning your wedding day is your location. We searched a huge variety of places right from the North coasts through to the South coasts. As soon as we stepped through the doors at Hope Island resort, we knew that we had finally found the place for our wedding. The ambiance of Hope Island resort could not be compared to any other venue we had explored.

We were allocated our own personal wedding co-ordinator to assist in planning our wedding day. We found that the flexibility and the "anything is possible" attitude of the Hope Island staff, really helped to put our mind at ease throughout the whole planning process. The professional planning approach made us feel confident that our wedding day would run smoothly.


When our big day arrived, the only thing we had to worry about was getting ourselves ready. The co-ordination of the Hope Island staff was so precise they didn't leave us a thing to be concerned about. Our reception room was even more beautiful than I had imagined. The staff were very professional and I know our guests appreciated their attentiveness as much as we did. We had so much fun at our wedding that we didn't want the day to end.

It is now two months after our wedding and we are still receiving messages of praise from our guests. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely and I'm sure our wedding will not be forgotten in a hurry.

There is nothing that I would change about our wedding day.

We would like to express our sincere thanks on making our wedding day so unbelievably perfect in every way imaginable.

We would like firstly to thank Anna who was fantastic with the lead up to the day, nothing was too much trouble and everything was organized so professionally.

On the wedding day everything didn’t go the plan for me as I had a reaction to the makeup and we had to wait 1 ½ hours for the redness and swelling to go down, so it made me late for the wedding and to top it off Mum and Dad’s car battery went flat on the way to dropping off the cake and meeting me at my house.


But from the moment Andrew picked myself and my Dad up in the limousine everything went perfectly smooth and all the stress was gone in a second. Jenny was a lifesaver when I arrived, running in side to get me tissues, because I’m a cry baby.


The reception was absolutely fantastic in every way. When we walked into the room with our photographer, Andrew had the Jukebox playing and the room looked so fantastic and romantic. You couldn’t get anything more beautiful.

We truly just can’t stop talking about the wedding and our guests can’t stop raving about how fantastic the food was on the night. Everything was so perfect and we are both so happy we chose the Golf Club for our wedding. We would recommend the Gold Club to anyone having a wedding or function, the service and food was just exceptional. The grounds are amazing for photos and everything about the Golf Club is just so unbelievably perfect for a wedding.

So, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts with giving us the most amazing memories of our special day.

From the moment that we walked into the foyer at the Hope Island Golf Club we knew that this was going to be the place for our wedding reception. We didn’t need to look any further! In fact we hadn’t been anywhere else and knew that we didn’t have to.

One of the greatest things about Hope Island Golf Club is their staff.

Really important to our enjoyment of the wedding, was the staff being very calm, extremely organised, incredibly available, professional, and above all, friendly - they made us relaxed and confident that everything would run smoothly. It was a completely stress-free experience. From the staff to the excellent drinks service, sensational food and beautiful décor, everything was taken care of and we didn’t have to worry about a thing.


The administration staff were also incredible during the planning process, exuding a sense of enthusiasm, organisation and efficiency. Issues and queries were handled quickly, e-mails immediately responded to, nothing forgotten or overlooked.

The Hope Island accommodation was also excellent - very well priced, well appointed, and just superb.

As part of the reception package, they also recommended contacts for the cake and photography which helped us greatly in keeping the look elegant, simple, classic and timeless.

Without even having to visit the beautiful venue beforehand, the room was set-up perfectly as per the agreed upon colours and style. Overall, the service was outstanding, the atmosphere relaxed and fun, the staff attentive but invisible - our highest expectations were exceeded.

Thank you so much for caring so well for us! We had the most perfect day and a number of our guests felt it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended also.
