Dear member

Golden Horse Australia and Links Hope Island Management would like to provide Members with an update regarding proposed development at Links Hope Island.

Regretfully plans for the hotel have been put on hold until further notice whilst other GH Australia projects both locally and globally take priority.

What does this mean for Members at Links Hope Island?

Golden Horse Australia will invest in the realm of $2M in golf course improvements. Links and GH have engaged original golf course architects, TP Golf to design a new peninsula style par 3, 9th Hole  where the current aquatic driving range is located, 300m driving range facility with 6 target greens and lengthen the par 3, 3rd hole. The design brief was to make it more exciting and more fun than before and we believe they have achieved this.

Works are expected to commence in the 3rd quarter of 2018 and will take approximately 5 months until the new holes will be playable.  You have seen the works taking place by our greenkeeping team behind the 12th hole, this will become hole 12A which will be used whilst the new hole is being constructed. It has been important for management to ensure that Members will continue to enjoy a full 18 holes at all times during this process.

Additionally, the “Golf Course South” residential development located behind the current driving range will commence early civil works in preparation for the last available golf course properties to be developed within the resort.
