The first hole provides a generous beginning in order to get you safely on your journey with a wide fairway and only a solitary fairway bunker along the left side. The green is free of bunkers but has a subtlety that offers deception. Favouring the left half of the fairway offers a better line into a longish green, raised slightly above the surrounding fairway.
