This is the “pulpit” from which one can spot trouble of all kinds. Because of its relatively short length, the green is necessarily small and shallow and pinpoint accuracy is required to avoid the severe drop offs on either side and behind. If your confidence is low, play left and short especially if the flag is in the front half of a green separated from front to back by a tier.
